We came here for the Palinka Experience (a small museum +a 2cl tasting) and stayed to have our stomachs refilled. The baked chiken thighs were just perfect; the red wine beef stew made us feel like visiting the grandma's (and the accompanying Palinka only enhanced the feeling). The prices were quite fair. The taste and the serving design were also quite good. The food menu is brief but the drinks menu is huger than you can imagine (mostly Pálinka as you could guess). We'll gladly come back next time we are in BP. The service of Naomi was amazing, as well as the drinks paring advice from Kevin. Thank you, guys! (Also for the few Eminem tracks).

There is a lot more to Pálinka than you would think and I believe this to be the best place to discover it. Unfortunately the museum itself has seen better days, is quite small and doesn't provide with much information. But what the exhibition is lacking is fully made up for by the great staff so make sure to attend one of the tours! I had the opportunity to be guided by Kinga who made sure we had ample info about every aspect of the spirit and the making process. I loved the tasting and how Kinga was able to describe each of the different aromas I was made to try. Ask for the richer flavours of Apricot or Red William's pear!.

We went to the museum - it was included in our Budapest city card. I think the presentation was very interesting. At the end of the tour we were given a shot of pálinka (it was such a miniscule amount literally thought it was dirty glass). At the end we didn't eat there but the menu looked interesting..
